Penzo has arrived on the site

Penzo has arrived on the Makoto Tejima website.

The look is a round white body, a black visor, vertical glowing blue eyes, and a blue gem on the chest. Penzo now appears across the site, including the top page, services, and the consultation flow.

The aim is a first impression that does not rely on copy alone. The writing stays as it is, while the same face connects the pages.

Talk about system development can look stiff when it is only words. Penzo softens the entrance to a consultation. The point is not to thin out the explanation. It is to set the tone before reading.

Alongside the company mark, there is now one guide who walks through the site. The face does not change when the page does, so a first-time visitor can tell they are still in the same place.

Who Penzo is

Penzo is the guide for this site. The name is Penzo, and we keep that name.

The shape is simple: a round white body, a black visor, vertical blue eyes, and a blue chest gem. The blue at the tips of the hands and in the gem is the color reference for the whole site.

The expression does not change much. The eyes and the gem are what say “I am here.” Even at a small size, the vertical eyes and the gem make it the same character.

The browser tab icon is Penzo as well, so the site is easier to spot in bookmarks and history.

Where Penzo appears

Penzo appears in places like these:

  • The top-page first view

  • The services page (a desk scene)

  • The work flow, from consultation through the steps

  • The browser tab icon

On the top page, Penzo softens the first impression and sits beside the service copy so it is clear who is guiding the page.

On the services page, the entrance image shows Penzo at a desk. Development topics get abstract quickly, so the working scene comes first.

In the work flow, Penzo shows up as support beside each step: consultation, hearing, design, development, and follow-up after launch.

Penzo is on phones too. Position and size change with the screen, but the white body, black visor, vertical blue eyes, and chest gem stay the same.

Color and paint

The site blue runs from a light cyan close to Penzo’s hands and gem, to a slightly deeper blue.

Text and menus use a readable blue. Buttons use a gradient from bright cyan to blue. We are not returning to the older purple-led palette.

Illustrations use glossy white and translucent cyan light, close to anime cel paint. We do not use clay-like volume or light streaks across the picture.

Backgrounds stay white, or a very pale blue, so the white and blue of the character do not disappear.

We are not aiming for photo realism, or for the heavy volume of a game screen. Readable shapes, and blue at the same temperature, come first.

Small icons and large illustrations share the same paint direction, so a change in size does not turn Penzo into a different character.

News images from here on

Eyecatch images on News will follow the same paint direction as Penzo.

Whether the topic is a technical note or a company notice, the pictures should not jump between styles. When the look changes every article, it is harder to tell that the updates belong to the same site.

The shared guide is:

  • Keep the white body, black visor, vertical blue eyes, and blue chest gem

  • Anime-leaning paint: glossy white, translucent cyan, soft highlights

  • A bright white or very pale blue background

  • No laser-like light streaks, and no clay-like volume

Penzo does not have to appear in every article. Diagrams and concept art should still match the color and the paint temperature. The rule is not to switch to a different world.

The image on this article is the first of that series. Later updates will stay on the same path.

How to spot Penzo

If the tab icon is Penzo, you are on this site.

In the page, the blue gem and the vertical eyes are the markers. Some placements are small, but the shape is the same.

Switching to English does not change the pictures. The words follow the language. The guide’s look stays shared.

What has not changed

Only the on-site guide is new. The work is the same: design and development for AI, web systems, and mobile apps, plus taking over or improving existing systems.

The contact paths are the same. Estimate requests and inquiries still go through the buttons on each page. Pricing was not changed because Penzo arrived.

Article categories stay as they were. Site updates and business notices are News. Technical notes stay in Technology. This article is a notice from the site.

Pages with new pictures keep the same links and contact paths. Bookmarks still open the same URLs.

Summary

Penzo is now on the site as the guide.

The same face across pages makes it easier to feel that you are still on one site. News images will follow the same paint from here.
