Challenge & solution
Challenge
Appraisal, receiving, and inventory management for buyback items relied heavily on individual staff, and manually reviewing large volumes of product images created a bottleneck, slowing down appraisal.
Solution
We turned the entire buyback workflow into a web system and integrated AI image recognition to assist with appraisal automatically. We designed a UI that lets staff review and correct results, along with a data structure connecting through to inventory and sales.
Results
We achieved a more efficient, standardized appraisal process. AI-based initial assessment reduced staff review workload and improved the speed of the overall buyback operation. *Images are for illustration purposes only due to confidentiality.
